Welcome to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church! Our mission is to share the Word of God in a way that inspires believers to be persistent in faith, patient in prayer, and productive in service. We believe in the Holy Trinity:
-
God the Father is the Creator of all
-
His Son, Jesus Christ, is our mediator
-
The Holy Spirit is our Guide

We believe, as the Bible states in Romans 10:9-10, that "if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved."

We believe that this is the path to salvation through Jesus Christ:
-
Admit you are a sinner (Romans 3:10-12, 23)
-
Understand that as a sinner, you were deserving of death (Romans 6:23)
-
Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from sin and death (Romans 5:8)
-
Repent by turning from our old life of sin to a new life in Christ (Romans 10:9-10,13)
-
Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, His free gift of salvation (Romans 8:38)

Greetings from Our Pastor

Pastor Victor T. Manns &
First Lady Lisa Manns
Grace and peace to you from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ!
Here at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Milwaukee Wisconsin, we seek to live out our calling as the body of Jesus Christ, as a people chosen, known, loved and sent out by our Risen Savior.
Here at Antioch, we come together to encourage each other, to pray for each other, and to discern together the ways we can reach out to our hurting world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here, we are a family of believers - not always perfect but bound together by someone greater than we are.
Centered on God's Word, and empowered by His Holy Spirit, together we seek to be a community of believers our Lord called us to be.
And we would love to have you join us! We love to welcome you into our worship services and our other "going on's" here at Antioch! We would love to get to know you and for you to get to know our Church family so that we may worship and serve the Lord together!
We look forward to seeing you soon! To God Be The Glory!
Serving Him Together,
Pastor Victor T. Manns
CHURCH COVENANT

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now, in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.

We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances, to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements and exemplary in our deportment; to avoid tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale and use of intoxicating drinks as a beverage; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.

We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay.
We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.

And now unto Him, who brought again from the dead, Our Lord Jesus, be Power and Glory forever. Amen.
